General Information

ACROS strives to offer the finest children’s programming and facilities in the Tri-State area.  Beginning August 2011 Acros switched from sessions to a more convenient monthly payment method.  No more worrying about when to start a new session, how many classes you have left etc.  We hope you will agree that the many benefits including ease of budgeting, better management of coach to student ratio and student progression make this transition mutually beneficial.

We are located at:
333-C North Plaza East Blvd.
Evansville, IN  47715

Office Hours of Operation:
Monday-Thursday: 9:00am – 6:30pm
Friday: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am-12:00pm

Family Multi-Class Discount:
When more than one immediate family member is enrolled at the same time, ONLY the most expensive tuition in your family pays full fare; ALL lesser tuitions are discounted $5.00 per month.

Same Student Multi-Class Discount:
When the same student takes more than one class, ONLY the most expensive tuition is at full fare; ALL lesser tuitions for that student are discounted $5.00 per month.

Make-Ups:
Your tuition pays for a class spot, REGARDLESS OF ATTENDANCE. However, as a courtesy, ACROS offers 1 make-up classes per Month.  All make-up classes must be scheduled through the office at least 24 hours in advance. Make up classes are a privilege.  If you schedule a make-up class and miss it, your original missed class is considered made up.  In other words, you cannot make-up a make-up.   ACROS reserves the right to refuse to offer a make-up in any given class if we feel it will affect safety, class ratio or lessen the overall experience of those students who have registered and paid for that class.   There are No make-ups for dance classes Feb – June due to recital.

Enrollment Fee:
$40.00 for one child, $45.00 for more than one child in the same immediate family: The enrollment fee is due upon initial registration and on your anniversary date, thereafter. This fee helps defray ACROS insurance and administrative costs, thus helping to keep class cost as low as possible.   The enrollment fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

A Punctuality Plea:
Moms, Dads, for the sake of your child as well as all of the other children, please be on time! Being late is far more difficult on a child than many parents realize. In addition, it greatly distracts the rhythm of the class.

Admission into class:
Upon registration each child will receive an attendance name tag.  These tags are located on the wall immediately inside the gym by the blue class entrance gate.  NO student will be allowed to enter class without a tag.  Please help your child retrieve his or her tag prior to the start of each class then wait behind the blue gate.

Gymnastics Class Attire:

Hip Hop students need to wear jazz or sweat pants, T-shirt, tank top or leo with white soled tennis shoes. Hair pulled back into a ponytail.

Minimum Class Size:
Acros must maintain a class size of at least 4 students per class.  If a class drops below that number we reserve the right to either consolidate or cancel that class.  If a suitable class is not available a pro-rated refund, for the class, will be issued.

NO Students or Siblings Allowed in Gym When Not in Class:
for the safety of all students, no children are allowed in the gym or dance rooms when not in class.

Parents of Children age 5 and Under are Required to Stay at Facility:
Parents of children age 5 and under are required to remain at our facility as long as their child is on ACROS’ premises.  This allows for continued instruction in that the parent will be available to accompany the child to the restroom if needed and assist with any shoe/clothing changes.  Instructors must deliver each child to the responsible adult for that child at the end of each class.  Therefore, we ask that the adult be either at the dance room or at the blue gate, by the vending area, at the end of each class.

In Case of Inclement Weather:
ACROS seldom closes due to inclement weather.  On the rare occasion we do close, the media will be notified.
